Wilting Morning Glory
The afternoon color was caught by Irma's smartphone. The copper colored morning glory over seeding palafoxia made a great photo.
Fly Tying Session
The pattern I taught to folks was the Peyton's redfish shrimp. The man in the foreground mentioned that this was the first fly he had ever tied.
This was the 11th annual Oktoberfisch fly fishing festival hosted by the Fredericksburg Fly Fishers in Junction, Texas. We gathered to learn from experts who fish the Texas Hill country and got a chance to share some of our experiences from the south coastal estuaries. The comraderie was excellent and the pictures show how much fun we had learning, fishing, and teaching.
Photos of Fly Fishing Experiences
It can't get any better than this when you're on the water.
These photographs are an eclectic collection of photographs over the years. Some are recent, but many will be added here to represent the fun we have fishing the lower Laguna Madre.
